As we get ready for the physical part of our mission trip, we also spiritually prepare our hearts with monthly bible study!
Final Preparation and Commissioning
Blessings to all! Sunday was a busy day for the team, in a good way:) It started with being officially commissioned by Pastor to go forth in God’s name and serve in the mission field. After the service, the mission team headed to MOST Ministries, where lunch was provided by our team leader. Next came the final Bible study and then suitcases were filled with eyeglasses and all of the related supplies. Each of us will have a full sized piece of luggage with close to 50 pounds of materials, along with our personal and carryon bags. That’s a lot of luggage! We are now working on final preparation such as personal packing and filling out our travel documents, so that we can be ready to head out. Lord, thank you for the opportunity serve You by serving those who are in need both physically and spiritually.
